Everything about CadMemFree licensing happens at one AutoCAD command: LICENSE. It shows your Machine ID, starts your trial, accepts an activation code, and lets you move a license between machines. This page explains each step — including what to do when your CAD machine has no internet at all.
Type LICENSE in the command line and you get:
REGISTER [email protected] once. No purchase needed; it simply ties the free tier to you.LICENSE and copy the Machine ID.LICENSE dialog. One license covers up to 3 PCs and unlocks every AutoCAD version on each machine — no per-version fees.
Activation is verified locally with RSA signatures, so a machine that never goes online can still be activated. You only need a second device for one step:
LICENSE and copy the full Machine ID.LICENSE again and paste the code. It verifies locally — no internet needed.LICENSE → deactivate.LICENSE, paste the same code.Activating on more than 3 machines may cause the license to be blocked, so always deactivate first.
No. Verification happens offline; the server is only contacted in the background to honour remote revocations.
Usually a copy/paste issue (extra spaces, line breaks, or a missing character). Copy the whole code in one piece. If it still fails, the code may have been issued for a different Machine ID.
The Machine ID can change. Send us the new one and we'll re-issue your code — the same license, rebound.
Never. Licensing is stored in your user profile; CadMemFree only works with memory.
